Unfortunately The George Inn does not have its own car park, however there is a local pay and display car park around a 4 minute walk from the pub (Meadow Lane Car Park in Eton, SL4 6BN), and plenty of parking in Windsor at a short walking distance should you be approaching from the town centre.
Yes – all you need to do is connect to “The George Inn Guest Wifi”, and agree to our Terms and Conditions – no password needed!
Food is served from 12-3 and 5-9 Monday through Friday. On Saturdays we serve from 12-9pm, and on Sundays we serve from 12-5pm. Last orders are at 15 minutes prior to the closing time of each service slot, and all above timings are subject to change.
We offer table service for customers eating inside the pub, though if you are enjoying the beer garden, please order food and drink at the bar.
Yes, absolutely – we aim to cater for all dietary needs where possible. Please ask your serve for our full allergen matrix and be sure to inform the staff on duty of your requirements.
Due to the age of the pub, there are several steps into the pub and through the garden and our bathrooms have narrow entrances, which we unfortunately cannot alter. Please note that if you are staying with us, our upper floors and bedrooms are only accessible by stairs.
We’re proud to be the flagship pub of Windsor & Eton Brewery, and our team will happily answer any questions regarding brewery functions or tours (more information at webrew.co.uk). The Brewery is just a ten minute walk across the bridge and along the river, on the other side of the railway arches, and is open to the public from 10am-9pm Monday through Saturday.
Please see our “Hop House” page for all information regarding options for events with us, and feel free to use the contact form on the page to get in touch for more information.
Yes, we are family friendly and welcome supervised children of all ages, and supply children’s menus for our younger guests. There are also changing facilities in our bathrooms for your use. We also welcome well-behaved pets inside and in the garden, though we ask that they are kept on leads and off the furniture at all times. We have dog bowls in our garden and complimentary treats behind the bar.
We allow all kinds of dress code, though we ask customers to refrain from removing shirts or shoes in the pub!
